Isolation! follows along with my theory of high quality software for the Mac. I don't like to release software that doesn't both look good and behave properly. Isolation is SHAREWARE, I don't create crippleware nor put time limits on my software; this program is free of limitations (as long as all you ever want is 2 players and a really dumb computer). If you like my software please register it and I will send a personalized new version that supports more features. If you have registered for my previous program “Trek” then you have an idea of what my support is like.
There are many features that are planned/implemented in the registered version and I will explain each in turn and note which are available and which are not. First each player will control one of the five most powerful elements in the known universe ... Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and the most recent and powerful element Macintosh! Four humans are allowed to play at the same time (on the same machine only at this time), with the Mac as an additional player.

Board Size
The board size can vary with the size of the monitor that the program starts up on. The larger boards make for longer games, where the smaller boards tend to become fire-fights and make the computer tougher at lower levels.
Board Type
• Normal board: This creates the board with full undamaged tiles.
◊ Random board: This creates the board with randomly damaged or destroyed tiles.
